  I had finished sewing an Atmel ATtiny45 into a paper breadboard when I realized that I hadn’t programed the micro controller! Luckily I was able to attach alligator clips to the ATtiny45 pins and program the chip with a fade program via an Arduino Uno.

  Always test your tools for continuity before placing them in your tool box. A faulty tool will lead to time wasted with your prototyping.   To test your tools – Set your multimeter to the audible continuity setting and touch both ends of your alligator clips and jumper wires.
